My Second Elevator Pitch
I changed this elevator pitch by using my phone and without
using a script since in an elevator, meeting up unintentionally with a great
investor potential, you wouldn’t really be prepared. I did try to introduce
myself this time (that was what I had seen in my feedback) and I noticed I did
repeat myself, but I hoped that I got the point across that this could be great
for children in many ways and that it would serve other uses too like older
children, the elderly, etc. I didn’t go into too much detail about the product,
because I would want to go over that with the investor potential at the next
meeting.
In my first pitch, I wasn’t very energetic or enthusiastic
about the product. I was just reading a script. I would really liked to
have taken it outside next to a busy school or near a car for a more dynamic
setting, but, I wasn’t able to this time. I would really like to have had more editing time with it, it's pretty choppy now to get it down close to 90 seconds. :-) Perhaps next time I can do all of these things.
Virginia, great job on your second elevator pitch! I can tell you took the feedback from your first video and improved your presenting tactics. You were much more enthusiastic this time around. Great work, keep it up!
ReplyDeleteThanks, I appreciate that. PR is tough, but all of your pitches have helped me see what to do and what not to do. I'm starting to get the hang of it. Now for my video editing techniques...
