22A Elevator Pitch #3

After reviewing my feedback of my first elevator pitch and after listening to Dr. Pryor's review of the product itself, he is correct in that I was drifting away to another product. The reason is I'm not sure people will buy the product for the one reason only. I can picture a young couple, with their first child in the store or online shopping and the mom says, "That's a cool product to make sure you don't leave your child in the car." and the husband may say, "You don't need to buy that, just don't leave the child in the car." The product sort of evolved into another product that could be a better selling product and a tool for piece of mind for new parents. It was to include the hot car deaths as one aspect of it. They have similar products in hospitals where newborn babies are monitored.

I have decided he is right to just go with the product in it's simplest form and not try to skirt around the issue at hand which needs to remain on babies in hot cars. So, here is a quick pitch to the customer, not the potential investor.

  1. Hey Virginia, I think you did a great job in this pitch by really focusing on the consumer and saying how the product can really save lives. I like the speed of your elevator pitch it is really hard for me to slow down and talk in a slow, soothing, and persuading voice. I usually just ramble and I think you did the opposite, you did a great job with that!
